In 1982 he played the role of Julian in the TV nobel ´Tiempo sin huella´.
The next year I had the opportunity to be on a television show for children called''Pequeños gigantes'', were he did everything from singing, dancing, acting, creating arguments and stories and even learn techniques the small screen. Later, in 1984, she starred in ''El Faraón''. His next project was the 1985 TV nobel ''Tuyo is mi corazón''.En 1986 he had his third starring role in ''Gallito Ramírez''. In 1988 he married Margarita Rosa de Francisco Colombia and in 1990 he got divorced from her. With this role Carlos Vives became known internationally, especially in Puerto Rico and in the United States. In 1989 he starred in the Puerto Rico TV nobel ''Tormento'' and many more in later years. Throughout the years he began to take music albums which according to Sony Music were: `` Escalona un acto a la vida´´ in 1991, ``Clasicos de la provincia´´in 1993, ``Tierra del olvido´´three years later, ``Tengo fe´´in 1997, and ``El amor de mi tierra´´two years later. And from 2000 he brought out the following albums: ``Dejame entrar´´in 2001, ``Rock de mi pueblo´´three years later, ``Clàsicos de la provincia 2´´in 2009, ``Volvì a nacer´´and ``Volvì a nacer EP-Remixes´´in 2012 and his last album was ``Corazòn Profundo´´ launched in 2013.
